MLB The Show 26 lets you play with others across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Crossplay is on by default, but you can turn it off if you prefer to stick to your own platform. Here's a clear guide on how to manage it.

How to Toggle Crossplay In-Game

For most players, crossplay can be controlled from your Universal Profile:

Open the Main Menu – Start at the home screen where you pick modes like Diamond Dynasty or Road to the Show.
Access Your Profile – Move to the top-left corner and select your profile icon.
Navigate to Settings – Inside your profile, go to the Settings or My Player tab.
Toggle Crossplay – Find the "Crossplay" option and switch it Off to play only on your platform, or On to play cross-platform.

Even with crossplay off, you can still play with friends on other platforms:

Invite to Game – Once added, they'll appear in your in-game friends list. Invitations from other platforms show up in the Game Challenges section of the profile menu.
